Overview | Space Coast Stadium Info | Shop | Tickets | 2013 Schedule | Photos | Nationals News and Press | Space Coast Stadium Area Information |The Washington Nationals are a member of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball's National League. The team, formerly known as the Montreal Expos, moved to Washinington DC in 2005 to start the season. The Washinton Nationals also go by the nickname "the Nats". The name is based upon a previous professional baseball team that used to be in the Washington DC Area. One was of those teams, the Washington Senators, moved to Texas and became the Texas Rangers back in 1972. After playing their first three seasons at RFK stadium, the Washington Nationals baseball team finally moved into their new home stadium, Nationals Park in 2013.
The Washington Natyionals have earned a loyal following in the short number of years that they've been Washington DC's baseball team. Come see them play their baseball spring training games this year in Florida.
