Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays are a member of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball's American League and are based in Toronoto, Canada. They are the only Canadian based MLB team since the Montreal Expo's moved to Washington DC in 2005 and changed their name to the Washington Nationals. The team is affectionately called "the Jays" and were first established as a professional baseball expansion team in 1977. The Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series in 1993 and has the distinction of being the only major league baseball team based outside of the United Staes to have ever won the World Series.
