Blue Jays Team Report (Yahoo! Sports) It wasn't the big deal Blue Jays fans were expecting, but don't try selling that idea to general manager Alex Anthopoulos. Though veteran players such as Jose Bautista and Scott Downs are still with the team, their first baseman of the future, Brett Wallace, has been shipped to Houston for center field prospect Anthony Gose. Gose was part of Thursday's blockbuster deal involving Roy Oswalt. He moved from Philadelphia to Houston to Toronto. In Gose, the Jays believe they've found their center fielder of the future. Given that he's 19 and playing at the Class A level, it could be another four or five years before he sees the bright lights of the Rogers Centre. "It's very exciting to add him to the organization," Anthopoulos said.
