The Texas Rangers will once again show their great skills during 2013 spring training at Surprise Staduim. This may be the year that they finally have their dream year, having been the oldest established team to never have won a playoff series, and therefore have never been to a World Series. The team originally started out as the Washington Senators in 1961, but moved to Arlington, Texas in 1972. They are seated in the Western Division of the American League
2013 Spring Training promises to show if the Texas Rangers will have a turn-around year after having 74 wins and 87 loses during the 2007 baseball season. With Michael Young batting .315 and having 94 runs batted in (RBI), Sammy Sosa hitting 21 home runs and K. Millwood throwing over 123 strikesouts and being credited with 10 wins, the Texas Rangers have the offense to Play Big in 2013.
Come see the Texas Rangers play 2013 spring training games against the other 11 Cactus League Teams. They'll play each of the opposing teams at least twice, so everyone gets to see their favorite teams play great baseball in Phoenix or Tucson.
