PHILADELPHIA - A New Jersey man was sentenced to up to three months in jail Friday for vomiting on another spectator and his 11-year-old daughter in the stands at a Philadelphia Phillies game.

A 21-year-old New Jersey man was sentenced to jail Friday for vomiting on another spectator and his 11-year-old daughter in the stands at a Philadelphia Phillies game. Matthew Clemmens, of Cherry Hill, N.J., pleaded guilty in May to charges of assault, harassment and disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one to three months in jail, two years of probation and 50 hours of community service.

So when general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced Thursday afternoon that the team had acquired long-time Astros ace Roy Oswalt in a four-player deal Thursday afternoon, the Phillies were confident the trend would continue and the latest hired gun would help pitch them to the postseason. "Having faced him plenty of times, I'm glad he's on our side now," Chase Utley said. "He's one of the tougher right-handers I've had to face, and I'm not just saying that—he's a tough at-bat. He's a little guy that throws hard, he's deceptive and changes speeds well.

Jimmy Rollins isn't in the Phillies' starting lineup because of bruised left foot. The three-time All-Star shortstop got hurt when he fouled a ball of his foot during Philadelphia's 5-4 win over Colorado on Monday. He finished the game. X-rays on the foot were negative and Rollins is listed as day-to-day.
