Phoenix Municipal Stadium was built in 1964 and is the spring training home of the Oakland Athletics. In 2005 it under went renovations totaling $8 Million which resulted in improved press facilities, inproved concessions, and seating for the fans.

Directions to Phoenix Municipal Stadium:
From Downtown Phoenix head East on I-10. Take Hwy 202 to Priest Exit. Go North on Priest. Priest turns into Galvin Parkway just after Phoenix Municipal Stadium as you enter Papago Park. Proceed all the way through Papago Park. The Training Facility is just after Papago Park on the northwest corner of 64th St. (64th St. and Galvin Pky are the same street) and McDowell Rd.

Item Inspection Policy for Spring Training Games:
Fans may not bring coolers of any size, backpacks and/or large Bags. Small bags will be inspected before they are permitted into the ballpark. No cans, glass containers or open containers. Please arrive early, and be prepared to comply with these security measures. Gates open 1 1/2 hours prior to game time (11:30 a.m. for 1:05 p.m. games and 10:30 a.m. for 12:05 p.m. games).
