Stadium : Steinbrenner Field

Steinbrenner Field is the spring-training home of the New York Yankees. Previously known as Legends Field, the park is located in Tampa Florida and is owned by the Tampa Sports Authority. Steinbrenner Field was built in 19996 and is the largest grapefruit league spring training baseball facility in Florida. Steinbrenner Field also has the exact same field dimensions as Yankee Stadium in New York. Legends Field is directly across the street from Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The stadium is perfectly set up to accommodate the spring-training crowds, though the layout is the most fan restrictive in terms of allowing fans to get close to the baseball players.Legends Filed is actually a part of a larger 31-acre facility that also has a Major League practice field and a community use field
