Milwaukee Brewers Overview

The Milwaukee Brewers are a Major League Baseball tam based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The team was originally formed in 1969 as the Seattle Piolts, but moved to Milwaukee only one year later in 1970 and changed their name to the Milwaukee Brewers. Though the team was originally in the American leagur from inception to 1998, they are now in the National League, Central Division.

2008 spring training baseball will feature several of the brewer stars. This includes Brewers third baseman Ryan Braun, who was just named the 2007 Jackie Robinson National League Rookie of the Year. Ryan Braun batted and average of .324 during the 2007 regular season. Also present and playing will be Prince Fielder who batted in 119 runs and hit 50 home runs during the 2007 season.
