Kansas City Royals Overview

The Kansas City Royals were founded in 1969. They were the second baseball team based in Kansas City and were conceived after the Athletic's moved to Oakland in 1968. The team is named after the American Royal Livestock Show, held in Kansas City since 1899. The team is seated in the Central Division of the American League
