City Of Palms Park has been the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox since 1993. Previously the Red Sox trained in Winter Haven, Florida, where the Cleveland Indians now train. The Boston Red Sox have a lease with Lee County, Florida to train at City of Palms Park through 2019.

City of Palms Park Information:

Maximum Capacity: 7,290 permanent seats, plus tickets for a grass berm in right field. Standing room only admission within the stadium is also available. Standing room tickets are only sold on the morning of the game on a first come, first served basis.

Directions To City of Palms Park:

From I-75, take Exit 138 west onto Martin Luther King Blvd., turn left on Fowler St. and then right on Edison Ave. The ballpark is located on a palm tree-lined street in a neighborhood near houses and an apartment complex. Unlike most Florida spring training venues, it's not visible from any main roads.

City of Palms Park Parking

As long as you arrive early, there will be parking available at the ballpark. The cost is $5-$10. Otherwise, you'll need to find parking in the near-by neighborhoods.

Permitted Items for Spring Training Games:

One clear plastic bottle of water per person, one liter or smaller
Baby bag and stroller with baby
Blanket or towel (no umbrellas)
Bag not to exceed 16" x 16" x 8" (no hard-sided bags)
Camera, binoculars, video camera (no tripods)
Hand held electronic devices (no noise making devices)
Baseball and glove (no bats)
Foam seat cushions only (no stadium seats or foam seats with metal frames)
Food items in a clear plastic one-gallon size bag (no coolers)

Not permitted for Spring Training baseball games (or any other time):

NO: alcohol, cans, bottles, weapons, chairs, umbrellas, hard-sided bags, noise making devices, full-sized bats, stadiums seats, tripods, coolers, or other items deemed by Stadium Managment will not be permitted.
All persons and belongings are subject to search. There are no storage facilities on-site for items that are not permitted including purses, backpacks, or other personal items.
